Hi John,

This is a valid concern as many WWOOFers are travelling and using public computers. I can definitely make the logout more apparent and put it up in the corner. The other aspect to think about is the session cookie - currently when a user logs on, the session cookie stays active for a specific amount of time (maybe a few days?). We should look at shortening the expiry time so that the session expires sooner. I'll let you know what the setting look like now & what we can do about it.

Cheers,
Andrea

shorter session cookie time-out

A shorter session cookie time-out would be great, that way, even if you forget to log out, this will do it for you.

Please don't make it too short though, not like 10 minutes or anything. One (1) hour should be sufficient I think. That should allow plenty of time if you are interrupted in the middle of composing a long post (which I am guilty of LOL) or updating your profile. It really peeves me when I get called away right in the middle of things like that, on other sites, only to return to see it logged me out and everything I entered is lost. I've gotten smart though, now, if my entry starts getting long, I copy it to 'Notebook', every so often, to be on the safe side.

I'd still like to see the "Log out" at the top right of the page though.
